SSKB does not have the authority to approve applications, your completed application will be sent to your Committee for their consideration in accordance with the Scheme's own By-Laws.

The Body Corporate often has certain guidelines on the keeping of animals within the Body Corporate complex. An application is necessary to the Body Corporate to advise that a lot owner/tenant wishes to keep a pet on the premises.

If you wish to apply to have a pet at the property, please complete the form below. Your request will need to be submitted to the Body Corporate Committee. If applying as a Tenant, you will also need to provide evidence of the Lot Owner’s approval to keep a pet.

That I/we agree to abide by the By-laws of the Body Corporate of: *
Acknowledge that I/we shall be liable for any damage to common property caused by the pet and shall pay the Body Corporate immediately for any costs incurred in rectifying this damage.
Accept full responsibility and indemnify the Body Corporate for any claims or injuries to third parties or their property caused by, or as a result of, actions by my pet.
Acknowledge that the consent of the Body Corporate is in respect of the nominated pet only, and that any change of pet must be subject of a separate application.
Acknowledge that in the event of a breach of any By-Law or approval in relation to pets, the Body Corporate may withdraw any consent it has given me for the keeping of a pet.
Please be advised that it is the responsibility of the pet Owners to monitor the noise from pets. Be mindful of neighbours.
Please note that submission of this form will result in an owners Motion for the Committee being recorded. In accordance with S58(3) of the Standard Module /Accommodation Module S50(3)/Commercial Module S22(3) the Committee is not required to decide a motion if, within the 12-month period, 6 or more motions have been received by the Committee from the Body Corporate Member (Owner).
